The Planning and Development Permit Authority is responsible for granting of Planning Permits across the State, and preparation and implementation of lower order plans to promote orderly development in compliance with the Local, Master and Regional Plans.

Departments

Planning Permit Department (PPD)
Processing and issuance of planning permits to all types of building development proposals. Enforcement of the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Regulation.

Physical Development Intervention and Audit Department (PDIAD)
Monitoring compliance with approved operative physical development plans. Investigation and resolution of petitions and complaints on planning permits.

District and Local Plans Department (DLPD)
Preparation and Review of District Plans, Development Guide Plans, Town Plans and Local Plans in line with the State Regional Plan and Master Plans in consultation with the Ministry. Publication, sales, and gazette of Approved District Plans.

Development Research and Records Department (DRRD)
Keeping records and publication in the State Gazette of planning permits granted, refused, or withdrawn. Enlightenment and publicity activities of the Authority in consultation with the press and public relations officers.

Administration & Supplies Department (ASD)
Processing of promotions, advancements, and inter-cadre transfers of Staff. Initiating staff disciplinary actions.

Finance & Accounts Department (FAD)
Compliance with Financial Regulations, IPSAS and the Accounting Codes. Ensuring adequate supervision of funds disbursement, proper monitoring, and accounting for revenue.
