The Slum Regeneration Authority is responsible for the identification of slum/blighted areas for revitalization, to recreate a healthy environment fit for human habitation.

Departments

Redevelopment Planning Department (RPD)
Preparation and Implementation of slum upgrading and redevelopment plans, programmes and projects. Capturing derelict neigbourhoods for redevelopment.

Community Relations & External Interventions Department (CREID)
Coordination of poverty alleviation initiatives and any other community improvement programmes in regeneration areas. Public awareness/sustaining community improvement, etc.

Slum Regeneration Research, Statistics and Enforcement Department (SRRSED)
Identification and mapping of slum communities in the state. Formulation of policy guidelines and strategies for curtailing the spread of slum in the State.

Projects Design, Implementation & Management Department (PDIMD)
Advice on design, installation and maintenance cost effectiveness and energy efficiency system for building services such as water, lighting, air conditioning. Preparation of prototype building designs for areas of redevelopment.

Administration & Supplies Department (ASD)
Processing of promotions, advancements, and inter-cadre transfers of Staff. Initiating staff disciplinary actions.

Finance & Accounts Department (FAD)
Compliance with Financial Regulations, IPSAS and the Accounting Codes. Ensuring adequate supervision of funds disbursement, proper monitoring, and accounting for revenue.
