The Building Production Management Authority is responsible for ensuring the construction of safe, sound, and resilient buildings and achieve zero tolerance of building collapse in Ogun State.

Departments

Building Certification Department (BCD)
Issuance of building construction authorization to all types of developments in accordance with the Planning Permit granted for that purpose.

Building Services and Audit Department (BSAD)
Ensuring that services like electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems are properly and securely placed in buildings. Assessment of buildings maintainability report and their continued serviceability.

Building Inspectorate and Research Department (BIRD)
Issuance of demolition permit monitoring of approved demolition by private persons or Government Agencies. Continuous identification of distressed, dangerous, abandoned, and uncompleted buildings or structures.

Quality Assurance and Control Department (QACD)
Building site inspection and testing of building materials quality (reinforcements, cement, sand, granite, gravel, blocks, and water). Off- building site (material vendors) sampling and testing of building materials.

Administration & Supplies Department (ASD)
Processing of promotions, advancements, and inter-cadre transfers of Staff. Initiating staff disciplinary actions.

Finance & Accounts Department (FAD)
Compliance with Financial Regulations, IPSAS and the Accounting Codes. Ensuring adequate supervision of funds disbursement, proper monitoring, and accounting for revenue.
